I am a curator, DJ, and researcher with a background in art history and organizational anthropology. Themes inherent in my work deal with historiography, speculative fiction, intersectional feminist inquiry, environmental issues, sonic imaginaries, and the ways in which all of the residues of the encounter between them, are registered in the context of cultural and historical narration. My interest in curatorial practice lies in engendering new and radical ways – with activist, poetic, and immersive undertones – of looking at the deep entanglements between art, society, and its institutions by working across structures, infrastructures, disciplines, and fields. Whether my projects take the form of an exhibition, mixtape, event, screening, listening sessions, reading circles, and/or other forms of interdisciplinary and collaborative work, the artistic, socio-political, and cultural are always intertwined.
