About Jiaxin Chen

Jiaxin Chen, she/her, is a dancer/maker, dramaturge and programmer. Her work is personal and vulnerable, but always has a strong social foundation. She graduated from the Dancer | Creative Contemporary programme and focused on floor work, Countertechnique and movement theatre. Jiaxin made her debut as a maker at the Café Theater Festival 2022. In the same year, she was Maker in House at Productiehuis Nowhere. In 2023, she made a second performance for Café Theater Festival and in 2024 she will be a returning resident at Het Huis Utrecht.

The importance of fair practice to me:
